Working My Way Up To 50
This morning, I was determined to do 50 push-ups. However, I didn’t quite make it there. I started off strong, but really started to feel the burn when I passed 40. When I got to 43, I knew that I couldn’t possibly go on, but somehow I managed to squeeze out 3 more push-ups. I would love to make it to 50 within the next couple of weeks. I read today that fit men in their 40’s should be able to do 24 to 40 push-ups without stopping. When I started trying to get into shape, I could maybe do 5 to 10. I’m headed to 50. Who’s with me?
Here’s What I Had To Eat Today:
1 Snackwell’s Protein Meal Bar
1 Serving of Nonfat Strawberry Yogurt
1 Chick Fil-A Sandwich on Whole Wheat
1 Mixed Fruit Cup (Strawberries, Apples, Grapes, Oranges)
1 Grapefruit
1 Ham and Turkey Sandwich on Whole Wheat Sandwich Thins with Fat Free Cheese
100 Oz of Water
My Exercise Friday:
50 Minutes of Walking
1 Filming Session including active stretching
46 Push-Ups
My Supplements Friday:
1 Fish Oil Pill
1 Men’s Multi-vitamin
