Pineapple Lemonade

Tonight, I attended a dinner meeting at a church where water was not available.  I looked for a water fountain without luck.  As I picked up a 6 oz cup of lemonade, I realized that it was the first time in six or seven weeks that I was going to drink anything other than water.  It turned out that the lemonade contained a hint of pineapple.  It was amazing.  Fortunately, a very nice hostess later handed out small 8 oz bottles of water as well.

My wife Kathy has told me many times that when you don’t indulge on sugary drinks or treats everyday that when you finally do partake, the taste is overwhelming.  She is right.

Here’s what I’ve eaten today:

1 Snackwell’s Protein Meal Bar

1 Fresco Chicken Soft Taco

1 Fresco Steak Soft Taco

1 Serving of Lettuce Salad with tomatoes

2 Servings of Red Beans and Rice with Andouille Sausage

1 Small Chicken Thigh

1 Dinner Roll

5 Raisins

6 oz of Pineapple Lemonade

94 oz of water

Supplements I’ve taken today:           

1 Fish Oil Pill

1 Multi Vitamin

Exercise:

45 Minutes of Walking

21 Push-Ups

20 Squats
